2010 Live Photography Showcase!
Posted on February 28, 2011
2010 was definitely a year for development and trying new techniques in live situations. I felt it was important to keep my style and try and capture as much energy, raw emotions and atmosphere as much as possible!
Investing in a new Canon 7D towards the end of the year was definitely a good move, building up a good set of lens for 2011 is going to be top priority as I was really impressed with the camera. Making the switch from Nikon to Canon was also an important decision not only because of the financial aspect of having to re-buy a lot of my typical lens but also becoming familiar to a new body/software system.
In 2010 (trying to keep to my small budget as most of it went on the body!) I used the following lens to shoot live:
Wide Angle: link
Zoom Lens: link
Portrait Lens: link
Standard Lens (18-135mm): link
I highly recommend all the above lens, however Amazon can be slightly expensive, I shopped around shops in london and photography websites around the UK and China/Japan to reduce cost.
The following shots are some of my personal favourites of 2010!

I’ll be hopefully working with a lot more video content in 2011 so look out for some video interviews and music videos.
