Burn the canvas is a personal freelance project developed by Oliver Rankin to display his passions for photography, digital artwork, inspiration and to act as a professional blog.

Over the past 5 years Oliver has developed himself into band photographer doing photos for various music artists such as Pendulum, Zane Lowe and great bands such as the Jack Daniels “Battle of the Band 2008″ winners The 23 Enigma. With a key eye for detail and a willingness to learn new things Oliver still finds the world of photography intriguing driving him to constantly try out new techniques and styles in his work. With a degree in Multimedia to his name, Oliver has constantly tried to offer more than just a photography package to his clientele including graphic design, producing promotional material, video editing, website design and retouching.
Oliver currently works for Premier Model Management in Covent Garden, London and has had the pleasure of working some of the greatest names in the fashion industry and has recently been featured in Advanced Photoshop magazine (december 2008 issue) for winning the photoshop competition.
